Here is a small album called Farewell Ghosts. These are my most recent songs (as of January 20th, 2011). I believe I started work on this in November of 2010. The process of recording this album differed from past albums in that I utilized KORG’s Kaossilator Pro.
The Kaossilator Pro is responsible for a lot of the crazier SFX on the album, as well as the more complicated synthesizer melodies. Those melodies will probably be noticeable without my pointing them out, because much of my songs admittedly use melodic phrases over and over without too much variation. The melodies from the Kaossilator Pro vary a lot along a scale, partly because it’s easy to improvise on a scale, and also because there aren’t any keys on the pad (which means, it’s very easy to make a mistake when trying to hit a note – but since its on a scale, the mistakes all work).
The album can be bought for as low as $0. You do not need to enter an e-mail address if you buy it for free. I would recommend that, along with burning it on discs and sharing with your friends. Donations, of course, are always welcome.
